Maria is a certified health coach, with a lifelong passion for natural health. With 17 years of yoga practice experience, a yoga instructor and studio founder, Maria brings a unique skill set to the FIXX team. She will be challenging FIXX members to enhance their mobility and strength through TRX for Yoga.
Maria’s credentials include numerous yoga teacher trainings with today’s leading yoga instructors including Baron Baptiste, Bryan Kest, and Beryl Bender Birch. She received her health coaching instruction through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She has led individual and group health coaching sessions focusing on holistic nutrition and lifestyles, detoxes and cleanses.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Her greatest enjoyment comes from nurturing her three amazing children.
Scott is the "better half" of owner Stacey McMickens. He is a fitness enthusiast who really just works out so he can eat more and have one extra beer. His credentials are simple....he has kept up with the wife through many epic challenges for 20 plus years and has lived to tell about it. Great attitude, always smiling, and will thoroughly ENJOY loudly encouraging you to pedal HARDER!!!
Married to Dianne 34+ years. Clark and Dianne have 2 children, 3 grandchildren and too many dogs! Clark recently retired with 30 years service from Cleco. His hobbies include fishing (forever), cycling (avid cyclist since '09), golf (really bad) and fixing just about anything. Also enjoys cooking and just hanging out outdoors with family and friends.
Andree’s passion is the bike! As an avid triathlete, she has participated in numerous races over the past 4 years including Texas Ironman 70.3. She has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years both as an instructor and manager.
Andree is a former member of the US National Training and Presenting Team for Les Mills, where she spent 5 years travelling the country delivering initial training modules, continuing education and upskilling to group fitness instructors. In addition she holds an undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from LSU and is a 1997 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU. She maintains active licenses to practice in Louisiana, Minnesota and Florida. She is married to Dr. Michael Leddy, an orthopaedic surgeon and team physician to Northwestern State University. They have 2 daughters, Anna Clare and Mary Cate.
Ashley is a practicing physical therapist with a Master's degree from LSU Allied Health in New Orleans, LA. One of Ashley's strengths is her ability to blend her knowledge of human anatomy and the proper biomechanics of human movement, with an encouraging and positive approach to helping her patients reach their goals. Running is Ashley's true passion, but she has been pleasantly surprised how cycling has taken a close second. This new challenge has pushed her both physically and mentally. She and her husband, Dr. David DeLapp are both competitive triathletes. They enjoy balancing out their own weekly workouts with family fitness time including their 3 active boys. Ashley looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for cycling and overall fitness with others.
